Deputy Minister Office of the President, Public Service Management and Good Governance, Hon. Ridhiwani Kikwete has said that the act of the Secretariat of Employment in the Public Service to officially start using a digital interview system (OATS) that enables the applicant to be interviewed at his location instead of traveling a long distance, in order to reduce costs for the Government and for the interviewees is a great achievement for the Government.
Kikwete made the statement yesterday in Dar es Salaam immediately after witnessing the interviewees of Tehama cadre conducting the interview at the University of St. Joseph, being one of the selection interview centers held digitally in every Region throughout the country, being the first interview since the system was recently launched.
Hon.Kikwete has said that the issue of employment is the life of the people, so the process today has opened a new page to promote transparency and fairness in removing complaints from those who are looking for employment in the government.
