ICT Expert (Website and Social Media Manager)
Job Description:
We are hiring an ICT expert to manage our daycare center’s website, social media accounts, and live YouTube channel to showcase school activities. The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain the daycare center’s website.
- Manage social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube.
- Stream and record live events, activities, and announcements.
- Ensure online content aligns with the daycare’s mission and values.
- Provide technical support for digital tools used in the daycare.
Qualifications:
- Degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- Experience in website management and social media marketing.
- Skills in video editing and live streaming.
- Knowledge of Kiswahili and English.
General Requirements:
- Preference will be given to residents of Iringa Municipality for all roles.
- Be ready and able to perform any other relevant duties, designated by superior
- Roles such as ICT Experts and Drone Operators should highlight familiarity with local cultural sensitivities.
- All staff must demonstrate a commitment to creating a safe, nurturing environment for children.
- All staff must be conversant (as per National Guidelines for Establishment and Management of Community-Based Day Care Centres) with: –

- Basic Competencies of a Child Care Worker
- Safety and Security (including Child Protection and Safety Procedures, and Health Care and Hygiene)

The video should be no longer than 5 minutes and must be sent in MP4 format. For larger video files that cannot be attached via email, applicants may share a link to the video using Google Drive or a similar platform. Ensure the email subject line clearly states the position being applied for (e.g., “Application for Toddler Teacher”). Applications without the required video presentation will not be considered.
