Job Title: Sales Officer
Department: Sales
Reports To: Head of Sales & Marketing
We are looking for two enthusiastic and goal-driven Sales Officers to join our vibrant sales team. The Sales Officers will be responsible for identifying and cultivating new business opportunities, managing current accounts, and meeting sales targets within OPIL’s packaging solutions range. This position requires a solid understanding of the packaging industry, along with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities:
Business Development:
- Proactively identify and qualify potential customers through market research, and cold calling.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to acquire new accounts and expand market share.
- Conduct presentations and product demonstrations to potential clients, showcasing the value proposition of our packaging solutions.
- Prepare and submit sales quotations, negotiating terms and closing deals.
- Support the sales team in developing and implementing sales strategies to increase sales order.
- Manage customer relationships through CRM systems and direct interactions.
- Follow up with key customers.
Account Management:
- Manage and nurture existing customer relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.
- Understand customer needs and provide solutions to meet their specific requirements.
- Proactively identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell to existing accounts.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate effectively with internal teams, including production, logistics, and management to ensure seamless order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
- Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to the overall sales growth of the company.
- Analyse and constant follow up on sales pipeline, tracking progress and delivery date.
- Provide regular sales reports and updates to the Sales Manager.
Administrative Tasks:
- Constant follow up on customer requests, customer interactions, and sales pipeline.
- Prepare and submit sales reports, weekly progress report and other required documentation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
- Strong understanding of packaging materials, technologies, and applications.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, presentation skills and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Highly motivated, results-oriented, and self-starter.
- Proficient in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent phone manner.
- Ability to work independently.
- Good with numbers and data tracking.
