The cooperation between the Embassy of Denmark and Tanzania has been developing since 1963, making Tanzania the first African nation to establish a partnership with Denmark. Over the past six decades, Denmark has contributed more than 50 trillion TZS to Tanzania’s socio-economic growth through Danida, fostering strong ties between people and institutions. In recognition of Tanzania’s growing influence globally, Denmark is expanding its partnership with the country.
Alongside development cooperation, the focus will be on enhancing government-to-government collaboration, promoting stronger trade and investment relations, and engaging in rich political dialogue on national and global issues that matter to both Denmark and Tanzania. The Embassy is an equal-opportunity employer, committed to diversity and creating an inclusive environment for all.
It encourages applications from qualified individuals regardless of race, gender, religion, age, or disability. The Embassy of Denmark in Dar-es-Salaam operates Monday to Thursday from 08:00 to 16:00 and Friday from 08:00 to 13:00. It is closed on weekends and both Danish and Tanzanian public holidays.
