Good Neighbors Tanzania is part of an international humanitarian and development organization that began in Korea in 1991. The organization holds General Consultative Status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council (UN ECOSOC). With a mission to create a world free from hunger and full of harmony, Good Neighbors operates in 46 countries, focusing on community development, the protection of children’s rights, and promoting self-reliance among communities.
Good Neighbors is committed to upholding the dignity and rights of individuals affected by poverty, disasters, and oppression, supporting them on their journey to recovery and independence. In Tanzania, Good Neighbors maintains a zero-tolerance policy toward any form of harm, sexual exploitation, or abuse of beneficiaries or program participants. Safeguarding and the Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA) are collective responsibilities. All employees and partners are expected to follow the organization’s Code of Conduct at all times, both professionally and personally.
