Job vacancies at Moshi District Council, April 2025

Moshi District Council, located in the Kilimanjaro Region of Tanzania, was established in January 1984 under the Local Government (District Authorities) Act of 1982. It encompasses 32 administrative wards, including areas such as Mabogini, Kindi, and Uru Kusini, with a population of approximately 535,803 residents as of the 2022 census.

The district is bordered by Rombo to the north, Hai to the west, Mwanga District and Kenya to the east, and the Arusha Region to the south. The council is committed to fostering economic growth and enhancing service delivery to its citizens.

It has identified key investment opportunities in sectors such as trade, industrial manufacturing, tourism, agriculture, livestock, and infrastructure development.
