Job vacancies at WWF, April 2025

Established in 1961, WWF is the largest global conservation organization, with over five million supporters across more than 100 countries, contributing to around 3,000 conservation and environmental initiatives. Prior to 2010, WWF’s work in Tanzania consisted of isolated projects focused on wildlife and habitat protection, environmental education, and raising public awareness about conservation.

Over time, these separate efforts were integrated into more strategic programs aimed at tackling the underlying causes of wildlife loss, habitat degradation, and conflicts between humans and the environment. A key shift included actively involving local communities to encourage the sustainable use of natural resources as part of their livelihoods.
