Job vacancies at Africa Healthcare Network (AHN), May 2025

Africa Healthcare Network (AHN) was established in 2015 when co-founder Nikhil Pereira-Kamath temporarily left Harvard Business School to launch Rwanda’s first private dialysis center. At the time, access to dialysis care was severely limited, prompting Nikhil and his co-founder, Dr. Lloyd Vincent, to commit to expanding high-quality dialysis services throughout the region. Since then, AHN has grown to more than 60 centers across East Africa, becoming the largest provider of dialysis and preventive healthcare in the region.

The company employs over 650 individuals, with more than 65% being women. Today, AHN is the fastest-growing healthcare services company in Africa and aims to expand to over 100 centers by 2026, positioning itself as the continent’s leading healthcare platform. Traditionally, quality dialysis services were only available in major cities such as Nairobi, Dar es Salaam, and Kigali, but AHN now delivers essential care to patients in rural and underserved communities.
