Its core mandate is the transportation of passengers and goods across Lake Victoria, Lake Tanganyika, and Lake Nyasa. The company’s vision is “To become a globally recognized maritime transport provider known for competitiveness, reliability, safety, and customer focus.”
Tanzania Meteorological Authority (TMA) was established under the Tanzania Meteorological Authority Act No. 2 of 2019. It is tasked with overseeing, coordinating, and delivering meteorological services to the public, institutions, and individuals for socio-economic development. The authority also provides weather alerts and advisories to safeguard lives and property during severe weather events.
Public Service Recruitment Secretariat (PSRS) is an independent government department created to manage recruitment for the Public Service. It was formed under the Public Service Act No. 8 of 2002, as revised by Act No. 18 of 2007, section 29(1). The vision of PSRS is “To be a regional Centre of Excellence in Public Service,” and its mission is “To conduct public service recruitment using modern methods based on fairness, transparency, and merit, while also offering guidance on employment issues.”
