Majina ya waliochaguliwa Jeshi la polisi. The Tanzania Police Force has officially released the list of names of candidates selected for basic police training for the year 2025. According to the announcement, a total of 33,990 applicants were shortlisted for the interview process, which took place from April 25 to May 11, 2025, across various regions in the country. Applicants with university degrees, diplomas, and certificates underwent their interviews at the Police Academy (DPA) in Kurasini, Dar es Salaam. Meanwhile, those with O-Level and A-Level education were interviewed in their respective regional centers.
In Zanzibar, interviews were conducted at the Police Headquarters in Unguja and at the Southern Pemba Regional Police Office for those in Pemba. Selected candidates are required to report for training at the Moshi Police. Those who attended their interviews at the Police Academy in Dar es Salaam must report at the Kilwa Road Police Camp prepare for transport to Moshi. Candidates from other regions should report to their respective Regional Police Commanders for travel arrangements.
Those from Zanzibar are instructed to report to the Zanzibar Police Headquarters on the same day for further instructions. All selected individuals must bring original academic certificates, birth certificates, NIDA national IDs, six passport-sized photos with a blue background, and essential training gear such as blue sports bras, blue sports shoes, and personal hygiene items.
