Audit and Assurance Job Vacancy at IFS

We are dedicated to excellence, integrity, and the development of  the next generation of financial leaders.  We are currently seeking ambitious, high-performing graduates to join our Audit Internship  Programme in Dar es Salaam. 

1. ROLE OVERVIEW 

• Location: Dar es Salaam, Tanzania 
• Duration: 6–12 Months 
• Objective: Gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced audit environment, working on live  client engagements while adhering to global standards. 

2. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Engagement Support: Assist teams in the planning, execution, and finalization of audits.
• Compliance: Execute audit procedures in strict accordance with International  Standards on Auditing (ISA). 
• Documentation: Build and maintain comprehensive audit working papers and high quality documentation. 
• Technical Testing: Support analytical reviews, substantive testing, and internal control  assessments. 
• Professionalism: Participate in client fieldwork and uphold the firm’s core values and  confidentiality protocols. 

3. CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS 

• Education: Recent Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Auditing, or a related  discipline. 
• Academic Merit: Minimum of an Upper Second-Class honors. 
• Skills: Proficiency in MS Office, strong analytical capabilities, and excellent organizational  skills. 
• Attributes: A collaborative mindset, high integrity, and a proactive approach to  professional learning.
