Volunteer Safety Attendant Job Vacancy at TMHS
TMHS Group is a registered organization engaged in healthcare services and safety support solutions, including the supply of safety equipment and related products. As part of our commitment to promoting safety awareness and the proper use of safety equipment, we are seeking a motivated and responsible Volunteer Safety Attendant to support operations at our safety equipment shop.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Health, or any related field
- Basic knowledge of safety equipment and their usage (PPE, fire extinguishers, first aid kits, safety signs, etc.)
- Experience in selling safety equipment with proven sales ability
- Good communication skills in both Swahili and English
- Must be a Tanzanian
- Basic computer skills will be an added advantage
- High level of discipline, honesty, and responsibility
- Ability to work with minimum supervision
Key Responsibilities
- Assist customers in identifying and selecting appropriate safety equipment
- Provide basic guidance on proper use of safety products
- Actively promote and sell safety equipment to customers
- Ensure safety equipment in the shop is well arranged, labeled, and stored properly
- Maintain cleanliness and order within the shop
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages or damaged items
- Support record keeping for sales and inventory when required
- Promote safety awareness to customers
- Report any incidents or operational challenges to the supervisor
