Aga Khan Health Service, Tanzania (AKHST), part of the Aga Khan Development Network (AKDN), is a non-profit organization focused on social development in Tanzania. It operates a major hospital in Dar es Salaam and five Primary Medical Centres across the country.
AKHST has recently expanded to become a leading tertiary and teaching healthcare provider. In collaboration with BMZ/KFW, AKHST is working on a COVID-19 vaccination project, aiming to increase access to vaccinations through a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) with regional and council health teams.
