Established for over 18 years, DCB was the first bank to be listed on the Dar es Salaam Stock Exchange (DSE). It was registered as a Limited Company on September 6, 2001, and began operations as a regional microfinance institution in April 2002.
On June 12, 2003, the bank was granted a license to operate as Dar es Salaam Community Bank Limited. Our Vision: To be Tanzania’s preferred provider of financial services.
