The National Institute of Transport (NIT) has officially opened its Online Application System (OAS) for the 2025/2026 academic year, inviting suitably qualified candidates to apply for Certificate, Diploma, Bachelor’s, and Postgraduate programmes.
The application deadline for both rounds is September 30, 2025. Applicants must register on the OAS portal, complete the form, upload certified documents (academic transcripts, ID, photo), and pay the non-refundable application fee via mobile money (M-Pesa, Tigo Pesa, Airtel Money) or bank deposit using a control number
NIT provides a diverse range of long-term programmes from NTA Levels 4 to 9, covering areas such as Transport Management, Logistics, Aviation, Shipping, Engineering, and Procurement. Eligibility criteria vary by programme, typically requiring O-Level passes in English and Mathematics for certificate/diploma courses, with additional subject requirements and entrance exams for degree and postgraduate studies.
