Duties and Responsibilities
- Performing all hospital-based medical duties related to various conditions within the relevant field, including pediatrics, obstetrics/gynecology, and routine or emergency surgery.
- Providing and supervising health education and improving community health within the district, region, or area of work.
- Maintaining statistics and utilizing them in accordance with established systems.
- Investigating, monitoring, and preventing disease outbreaks.
- Preparing continuing education programs for health personnel.
- Supervising and guiding subordinate staff.
- Designing, conducting, and evaluating research, and disseminating findings.
- Designing and preparing strategies to enhance the quality of services in their field.
- Preparing plans and budget estimates for health services.
- Participating in, verifying, and improving health services (medical audit and quality improvement).
- Preparing plans and budget estimates for health services.
- Performing other duties assigned by their supervisor that are relevant to their education, experience, and skills.
Qualifications
Recruitment of graduates holding a medical degree from government-recognized universities. Candidates must be registered with the Medical Council of Tanganyika. Remuneration
