The Benjamin Mkapa Hospital (BMH) was officially established through Government Notice No. 453 of 2015, which was gazetted on 16 October 2015. The hospital operates as a national tertiary referral hospital with the objective of providing advanced and specialized healthcare services using modern medical technology, highly qualified professionals, and world-class treatment facilities. Located in Dodoma, BMH has a 400-bed capacity and serves both local and international patients. The hospital offers a wide range of specialized services including:

Qualifications Required

Applicants must possess qualifications relevant to the advertised position from recognized institutions, Depending on the position, applicants should have:

  • Certificate, Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree
  • Successful completion of internship where applicable
  • Registration with relevant professional councils or regulatory authorities
  • Valid practicing license where required

Examples include registration with:

  • Tanzania Nurses and Midwives Council
  • Medical Council of Tanganyika
  • Pharmacy Council
  • Health Laboratory Practitioners Council
  • Medical Radiology and Imaging Professional Council
  • Engineers Registration Board (ERB)
  • Other relevant professional boards

Candidates with additional specialized training in areas such as Critical Care, Anesthesia, Oncology Nursing, Pediatrics, Audiology, Speech Therapy, Cardiovascular Nursing, Nephrology Nursing, Graphics, Video Production, and News Reporting may receive added consideration for selected positions.

Salary and Benefits
