HelpAge Tanzania Job Vacancy — Care Nurse
HelpAge Tanzania is seeking a qualified and compassionate Integrated Care Nurse (ICN) to deliver person-centered, holistic care services to older people, persons with disabilities, and People with Specific Needs (PSNs) in the Nyarugusu Refugee Camp. The role integrates preventive, curative, rehabilitative, supportive, and end-of-life care within a humanitarian setting.

Key Responsibilities:
- Direct Clinical & Supportive Care: Provide holistic nursing care to improve the functional ability, comfort, dignity, and health outcomes of vulnerable populations.
- Multidisciplinary Coordination: Work closely with camp health facilities, protection units, and community-based structures to deliver continuous care.
- Protection & Inclusion: Apply gender equality, disability inclusion, and safeguarding protocols across all community nursing activities.
Candidate Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or a related healthcare field.
- Active and valid professional nursing registration in Tanzania.
- Demonstrated experience in humanitarian or development NGO programming.
- High commitment to safeguarding, human rights, and disability inclusion.
- Strong bilingual communication skills (English and Kiswahili).
