Duties and Responsibilities
- All duties performed by an Assistant Medical Officer.
- To diagnose and treat common diseases.
- To supervise the performance of staff under their charge and conduct minor surgeries.
- To participate in planning and implementing primary health care services.
- To advise and encourage the public to contribute to the Community Health Fund services.
- To maintain records of medical equipment and tools used in service delivery.
- To keep records, prepare, and submit implementation reports.
- To perform other duties as assigned by their supervisor.
Education and Experience
To be employed, candidates must have a diploma in clinical dentistry from a government-recognized institution and must be registered with the Medical Council.
Salary scale: TGHS B
