It’s entrusted with the responsibility of regulating the development of the Cashew Industry in Tanzania in bearing its commanded places. The Cashewnut Board puts further emphasis in perfecting effectiveness and effectiveness in the cashewnutsub-sector in order to meet conditions of different stakeholders thereby enabling them to contribute to the public development.
To be a competent institution for furnishing policy, nonsupervisory and specialized advice for a ultramodern effective and economically feasible and sustainable Cashewnut assiduity by time 2025. To promote, control and regulate all matters in the Cashew assiduity in an effective, effective and fair manner.
The Board will achieve this through delivery of services in loftiest standard of excellence to all stakeholders. To appoint inspectors for examination of Cashewnut granges; recycling installations, storages and any other installation that may be audited for the better carrying out of the vittles of the Cashewnuts Industry Act. 2003.
