The Workers Compensation Fund was established and started their work on July 1, 2015 under the act Cap 263 R.E of 2015.

Main purpose of this Fund is to provide for adequate and equitable compensation for employees who suffer occupational injuries or contact diseases in their employment.

This Fund was deal with social security scheme and all employers in the public and private sectors in Mainland are compulsorily required to contribute to the fund.
