Job Position: Commercial Key Account Manager
The CKAM serves as the main liaison for designated clients, ensuring their needs are met proactively and effectively. This position requires a client-focused mindset, excellent communication skills, operational expertise, and the foresight to anticipate customer requirements. The CKAM is responsible for delivering exceptional service, cultivating lasting partnerships, and creating mutual value for both clients and the business.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Gain in-depth knowledge of the client’s industry, operations, and projects to better predict needs and offer customized solutions.
- Identify and present opportunities for additional services to improve client satisfaction and boost revenue.
- Act as the daily contact for clients, responding promptly and professionally to all queries and service issues.
- Work closely with internal teams, including planning and project sponsors, to ensure the right resources are allocated in a timely manner.
- Oversee the full customer order cycle, from confirmation through delivery, ensuring updates are provided on client dashboards and delivery documents are uploaded promptly for invoicing.
- Minimize the risk of standing charges by actively managing delays and coordinating quick resolutions with internal stakeholders.
- Provide dedicated support during new client onboarding and the initial phase of new projects.
- Regularly share performance reports with clients, either monthly or after project completion, showcasing key metrics, service highlights, and areas of improvement.
