Position: Office Transfer Driver
Daily Duties:
Staff Transportation:
- Punctually pick up and drop off staff at designated locations (office, meetings, training sites, Namanga, Camps).
- Assist with loading/unloading staff belongings (laptops, documents) as needed.
Safety and Compliance:
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws, speed limits, and company safety protocols.
- Ensure only authorized staff enter the vehicle and no unauthorized goods are transported.
Vehicle Maintenance:
- Perform a post-trip inspection to identify any damage, mechanical issues, or maintenance needs.
- Clean the vehicle interior (vacuum seats, disposal of trash) and re-fuel if required.
Logbook Updates:
- Record daily mileage, fuel consumption, trip details, and incidents in the vehicle logbook.
- Fuel Management:Responsible for fuel requisition for the vehicle. Record and analyze fuel consumption daily by noting starting and closing mileages.
Administrative Duties:
- Assist with minor administrative tasks related to transportation logistics (updating schedules
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- Valid Driving License:Must possess a valid driving license – Class C
- Driving Experience:At least 2 years of experience in professional driving, preferably in a corporate or office environment.
- Age Limit:25 – 40 years.
- Local Knowledge:Familiarity with Arusha and surrounding areas is essential.
- Technical Skills:Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting
- Excellent knowledge of vehicle operations, maintenance, and safety protocols.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to diagnose basic mechanical issues and perform minor repairs.
- Discretion and professionalism in handling confidential information.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
