Position Title: Bancassurance Manager
Reports To: Head of Alternative Channels
Location: Head Office

Qualifications & Experience:
Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Insurance and Risk Management and be certified by the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII). A Master’s Degree or Postgraduate Diploma in a relevant field will be considered an added advantage. Applicants should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the insurance industry, specifically in General, Medical, and Life Insurance.

Job Summary:

The primary role is to oversee and manage the bank’s Bancassurance portfolio, acting as a liaison between branches, corporate clients, and insurance providers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, organize, direct, and supervise all Bancassurance activities across departments.
• Ensure timely reconciliation of insurance premiums and monitor commissions due from insurance partners.
• Achieve set targets for premium collections across Life and General Insurance categories.
• Represent the bank on all Bancassurance-related matters with regulators and other external stakeholders.
• Support and supervise designated Bancassurance staff at branch level in coordination with Branch Managers.
• Facilitate quotation processes with insurers for leads generated through various channels, including branches.

Candidate Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Insurance and Risk Management (mandatory).
• Certificate from the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII).
• A Master’s Degree or relevant Postgraduate Diploma (preferred).

Key Competencies:

• Strong understanding of banking and digital banking trends.
• Excellent marketing and sales abilities.
• Highly motivated, proactive, and positive in approach.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal).
