This role is focused on growing the business, strengthening client relationships, and managing both key and prospective customers. It involves driving sales across liabilities, customer acquisition, cash management, credit cards, and retail products to maximize revenue and meet sales targets.

Position: Relationship Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the main contact for clients within the assigned portfolio, providing tailored banking solutions.
  • Drive growth in CASA, Fixed Deposits, and Asset products in line with set targets.
  • Acquire new customers across liability and asset products to meet acquisition goals.
  • Achieve fee income targets through upselling and cross-selling within the existing portfolio.
  • Offer personalized financial advice and conduct regular account reviews to help clients make informed banking decisions.
  • Collaborate with Branch Managers to proactively address challenges and identify business opportunities.
  • Leverage referrals from existing clients to grow the customer base.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all products and services offered by Exim Bank.
  • Prepare periodic portfolio reports for the Branch Manager.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Marketing, or related fields.
  • Professional certifications in banking or financial services are an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar client-facing role within banking; 5+ years preferred.
  • Strong computer skills and familiarity with evolving banking technologies.
  • Ability to assess client needs and recommend appropriate financial solutions.
  • Self-driven, goal-oriented, and confident in managing high-performance targets.
  • High energy, motivated, and capable of working independently under pressure.
  • Experience in structured trade finance, syndication, or project finance is a plus.
  • In-depth knowledge of retail banking products including liabilities, acquisitions, credit cards, and cash management.
  • Proven experience in sales and client relationship management in retail banking.
