Position: Host / Hostess
As a Host/Hostess, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, offering a warm and welcoming experience. Your role will focus on delivering courteous and efficient service at all times, with responsibilities that include:
- Providing consistently professional, friendly, and engaging service
- Greeting guests upon arrival, guiding them to their tables, and ensuring they receive attentive service throughout their visit
- Managing reservations, maintaining the booking system, and answering phone calls with professionalism
- Preparing the outlet with the team before opening hours
- Coordinating with service staff to arrange seating based on the reservation plan
- Ensuring cleanliness and upkeep of the dining area and entrance
- Maintaining a warm yet discreet presence to ensure guest satisfaction and comfort
- Being well-versed in the menu and promotions to confidently offer recommendations
- Assisting in building and updating the outlet’s guest database
- Confirming guest satisfaction as they leave the outlet
Qualifications & Experience:
Candidates should ideally hold a diploma or degree in hospitality and have prior experience in the Food & Beverage department, preferably within a hotel setting. A professional demeanor and excellent English communication skills—both verbal and written—are required. Additional language skills are a plus.
