Position Title: Relationship Officer – SME (4 Positions)
Job Overview:
Reporting directly to the Branch Manager, the Relationship Officer – SME is tasked with expanding the loan portfolio while cultivating and managing key client relationships. This role ensures that credit products and services are delivered in accordance with internal policies and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities include evaluating, structuring, and monitoring credit facilities, as well as working closely with clients to understand their financing needs.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular visits to borrowers for loan monitoring and recovery purposes.
- Review loan applications to determine applicant eligibility.
- Perform site visits to client businesses to gather data for credit analysis.
- Ensure full compliance with the bank’s policies before and after loan disbursement.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on loan performance and portfolio trends.
- Assist in other duties as required from time to time.
- Collaborate with the Branch Manager and other departments to support business growth.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field; minimum of 3 years of experience in credit administration. A Master’s degree or professional certification is a plus.
- Experience: At least 5 years of experience in relationship management or credit analysis within the banking or financial services sector. A proven ability to manage credit portfolios and complex lending arrangements is essential.
Key Skills:
- Solid understanding of credit products, financial analysis, and risk evaluation.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in financial modeling tools, credit management systems, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Comprehensive knowledge of banking regulations, credit risk, and compliance standards.
