Job Opening: Graphic Designer at MERIDIANBET
Department: Marketing
Location: Dar es Salaam, Tanzania
Reports to: Head of Online & Digital Marketing
Role Overview:
MERIDIANBET is seeking a talented and creative Graphic Designer to join our Marketing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing visually compelling designs across various digital and print platforms to support our brand and marketing campaigns.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop visual concepts in line with project goals and requirements
- Create illustrations, graphics, and layouts manually or using design software
- Produce creative content for advertisements, brochures, and other marketing materials
- Design static images and video content for social media
- Create promotional banners for the website
- Design posters and visual assets for retail locations
- Develop materials for CSR initiatives, giveaways, and charity events (both print and video)
- Assist in managing the company’s website, including sports and betting content
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Advertising, or a related field
- 2–3 years of experience using Adobe Illustrator (mandatory)
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop
- 2–3 years of experience in graphic design roles
- Solid understanding of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong creative thinking and execution skills
- Proven experience in creating content for both digital and print formats
- Passion for sports such as football, rugby, tennis, cricket, and basketball is essential
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with social media content creation and management tools
- Experience with vinyl branding and shop signage
