We’re hiring:Acquiring sales and support officer
Location:Â Dar es Salaam
Minimum qualification: Bachelor’s degree in business-related fields or equivalent
Deadline:Â August 15, 2025
Objective: Drive sales and product acquisition by managing the merchant sales pipeline while delivering direct customer support to increase transaction volumes and usage of bank-acquired products and services.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Pipeline Management
- Identify and pursue potential clients, including new customers and cross-selling opportunities within the existing base through marketing, prospecting, and activation efforts.
Stakeholder & Risk Management
- Manage and mitigate operational and business risks during customer solution implementations.
Customer Onboarding
- Gather all required documentation and secure necessary approvals to ensure a smooth and efficient onboarding process.
Merchant Engagement
- Conduct daily visits to merchants to ensure device functionality and promote consistent usage.
Performance Reporting
- Track and compile weekly reports on product utilization and performance.
Revenue & Cost Management
- Conduct cost-benefit evaluations and implement strategies to reduce expenses while growing revenue streams.
Revenue Oversight
- Monitor General Ledger (GL) accounts closely to detect and prevent revenue leakages and accurately report earnings.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in a business-related discipline or equivalent.
- Minimum of one year of sales experience, with familiarity in banking products and operations.
