Your Responsibilities

• Be the key contact for all network and system security operations
• Oversee daily network maintenance, troubleshooting, and monitoring
• Provide advanced support on network connectivity, firewalls, VPNs, and endpoint protection
• Work closely with the IT Team Lead and HOD to implement secure infrastructure updates
• Monitor for security risks and vulnerabilities, and respond accordingly
• Contribute to planning and implementing performance and security improvements
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to advance IT security goals
• Meet KPIs such as system uptime and response times
• Drive projects to completion while ensuring strong coordination and communication

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Telecom Engineering, or related fields
• At least 4 years’ experience in network/system administration
• MTCNA and MTCRE certifications preferred; CCNA/CCNP or CompTIA Network+ also a plus
• Expertise in MikroTik and Ubiquiti systems, firewalls, VLANs, VPNs, and QoS
• Experience securing and managing LAN/WAN across multiple campuses
• Skilled in conducting IT audits, risk assessments, and implementing access controls
• Proficiency in Windows Server (AD, DNS, DHCP, GPO) and Linux systems
• Experience with email systems (MS Exchange, M365), cloud (Azure, Google Workspace), and device management
• Familiar with tools like PRTG, The Dude, SolarWinds; strong at network documentation and troubleshooting
• Strong interpersonal, reporting, and team collaboration skills
• Background in education settings is an advantage—especially experience with student access, BYOD, and content filtering
