Position Available: Associate Finance Officer – Tanzania (Temporary Role)

Location: Dar es Salaam, Tanzania

The Associate Finance Officer will support daily financial operations, including invoice processing, account reconciliation, financial reporting, and maintaining accurate records for audits. This role serves as the key finance contact in the Tanzania office, responsible for handling transactions, managing travel advances and payments, supporting project audits, and ensuring proper filing of both digital and hardcopy financial documents. The officer will also manage petty cash, process in-kind grant payments, and assist with currency transactions, all while maintaining compliance with AGRA’s financial procedures.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field (professional certification is an advantage).
• Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong knowledge of financial standards and regulations.
• Experience in a similar organizational setting is preferred.
• High attention to detail, ability to maintain confidentiality, and capability to work independently in a diverse team.
