Main Responsibilities:

The Branch Manager will be responsible for creating and securing approval for annual marketing strategies aimed at boosting deposit mobilization and supporting business officers in achieving growth targets. The role involves managing the branch’s income and expenses to ensure profitability and recommending lending opportunities to drive business growth. This person will lead the development and implementation of marketing initiatives, evaluate industry trends and competitor activities, and assign performance targets to team members to ensure goal alignment. Additionally, they will maintain and grow client relationships, support staff with strategic direction, and oversee the branch’s operations, including lending and transaction services. The manager will also serve as the bank’s representative in the community, engaging with clients and stakeholders to strengthen the bank’s presence.

Candidate Profile and Requirements:

Applicants should hold a first degree in any discipline and have 4 to 6 years of relevant experience in retail banking, especially in branch operations or marketing, depending on the branch classification (Mega, Basic, or Micro). Ideal candidates must have solid knowledge of credit, marketing, and business development, along with strong leadership, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. A proactive attitude, customer-focused approach, and technological proficiency are also essential.
