Total Exploration and Development Uganda Limited (TEPU), CNOOC Uganda Limited (CUL), and the Government of Uganda have discovered crude oil in the Lake Albert region. To enable export to the international market, they plan to build a pipeline connecting the Kingfisher area to Buliisa–Nwoya.

The East African Crude Oil Pipeline (EACOP) is a core component of the Lake Albert Development Project. This 1,443-kilometer transnational pipeline will transport crude oil from Uganda to the Port of Tanga on Tanzania’s east coast. The EACOP system includes three main components: above-ground installations (AGIs), the pipeline, and marine storage terminals (MSTs). The AGIs comprise six pumping stations (PS-1 to PS-6) and two pressure-reducing stations (PRS-1 and PRS-2). The pipeline is a 24-inch heated export line running from the Kabaale hub pumping station (PS-1) in Uganda’s Hoima region to storage facilities in Tanga, Tanzania, with all necessary valve chambers, electric heat tracing (EHT) systems, high-voltage distribution (HV), fiber optic (FO) cables, related equipment, and EHT substations.
Job Description:
The Document Controller will be responsible for issuing, receiving, and registering correspondence between CPP and the Company, including minutes of meetings, letters, weekly reports, and monthly reports. They will check all deliverables by passing them through CPP’s Quality Control System before submission to the Company. The role involves uploading, downloading, registering, and distributing technical documents and document packages from the Company, as well as ensuring progress measurements of deliverables are accurate, clear, and reliable. Maintaining effective communication with the Company’s Document Control team is essential to ensure smooth project operations.
Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field

2–3 years of document control experience

Proven track record in document management, preferably in construction or project-based environments

Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
