Position: Energy and Fluids Specialist
Purpose of the Role:
The primary objective of this position is to lead the Process Engineering function within the brewery, ensuring efficient generation and utilization of all process utilities. The role involves identifying and implementing initiatives that drive significant performance improvements, enhance process stability, and maximize overall process capability.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Apply engineering principles to support Brewing and E&F production teams in achieving optimal plant performance.
- Provide on-line support for both situational and systemic problem-solving.
- Implement process optimization initiatives and conduct process capability studies.
- Offer design support and assist in the execution of regional capital projects.
- Lead smaller CAPEX initiatives within Brewing and/or E&F plants.
- Mentor and coach process engineering trainees.
- Identify and address technological gaps in Brewing and E&F operations.
- Manage and coordinate improvement projects to optimize plant and process performance.
Key Attributes and Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of E&F and Brewing plant operations.
- Excellent analytical skills for tackling complex problems.
- Ability to develop project plans, meet deadlines, and manage multiple tasks.
- Self-motivated and proactive.
- Skilled in problem-solving techniques and process optimization.
- Capability to mentor and develop team members.
Minimum Requirements:
- BSc in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
- Knowledge of AB InBev policies and procedures.
- Recognized international brewing qualification (e.g., IBD) is advantageous.
- 3โ5 years of brewery experience preferred.
