Licenced Aircraft Maintenance Engineer β Avionics (3 Position(S)
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair aircraft defects, and certify within dual scope approval for on-time aircraft release.
- Conduct scheduled maintenance checks and service bulletins, certifying work to ensure safety and minimal downtime.
- Inspect, repair, overhaul, modify, and test aircraft components and tools within the approved ATA cluster for optimal turnaround and serviceability.
- Maintain and certify cabin utilities and in-flight entertainment systems for passenger comfort.
- Identify and request necessary parts for maintenance tasks.
- Perform and certify duplicate inspections on safety-critical aircraft and engine systems.
- Accurately record and sign off maintenance work to keep aircraft history and data current.
- Report any incidents or accidents in line with company procedures.
- Follow company safety, health, and environmental policies.
- Coordinate aircraft towing operations and ensure safe movements by liaising with tower and apron control.
- Lead and supervise a team of technicians.

Qualifications
- Diploma/Degree in Aeronautical or Aircraft Maintenance Engineering, or related field, plus an approved apprenticeship.
- EASA B2 or ICAO Type II License with ATR 42/72 ratings.
- Dual LWTR with approval on at least one aircraft type.
- Recent ATR 42/72 experience with at least six months of certification in the last two years (verification required).
- In-depth knowledge of aircraft systems and TCAA regulations, plus human factors training.
Experience
- Minimum of three years in a related engineering discipline.
- Experience in line or base maintenance, with either dual LWTR plus one aircraft type approval or approval on two ATA clusters.
- At least two years as an approved technician.
- Familiarity with PW procedures, supervisory skills, and proficiency in inspections and troubleshooting.
