Position: Non-Standard Integration & Business Analyst

Key Responsibilities

Business Analysis & Solution Design

• Engage with business users and relevant stakeholders to gather and understand solution requirements.
• Analyze business and IT needs to determine the most efficient and effective solutions.
• Collect necessary inputs and pre-requisites related to specific change requests.
• Evaluate proposed customer journeys and ensure they align with system capabilities.
• Review current user journeys across all platforms and suggest improvements for a streamlined, customer-focused experience.
• Maintain clear and consistent communication with all parties involved in the change process.
• Collaborate closely with product teams to enhance solution quality.

Solution Documentation & Implementation

• Map out data flows and confirm accurate data capture.
• Define validation rules for customer-submitted data.
• Design and document reporting requirements.
• Outline the technical journey and key milestones.
• Ensure communication materials for customer journeys are prepared.
• Design solutions that work across all relevant platforms.
• Present solution walkthroughs to business stakeholders before seeking final approval.

Operations Management

• Schedule and manage system changes end-to-end.
• Participate in the Change Approval Board (CAB) process for submitted changes.
• Monitor, report, and follow up on system changes and incidents related to Airtel Money.
• Maintain the reliability, security, and availability of the Airtel Money platform.
• Assist in scheduled maintenance activities such as database purging, archiving, and reorganizing.
• Coordinate with stakeholders (e.g., through Zebra meetings) to reduce system outages caused by overlapping changes.
• Support System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new solutions.
• Conduct solution handovers and walkthroughs for the NOC Operations team.
• Ensure timely delivery of audit and commission-related data.

Project & Partner Support

• Gather requirements for new report development.
• Work alongside project teams to ensure CRs and UATs are completed as scheduled.
• Review and validate code and documentation while managing project timelines and risks.
• Efficiently manage resources and support product or campaign launches.

Stakeholder & Partner Management

• Provide IT support to internal clients, ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Coordinate with external partners on audit requirements and meet reporting standards and SLAs.
• Collaborate with integration partners/vendors to address major issues and manage system upgrades.
• Act as a liaison for resolving integration challenges and ensuring smooth service delivery.

Qualifications & Experience

Educational Background & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Software/Computer Engineering, ICT, Electronics, or Computer Science.
• Proficient in SQL, MySQL, Oracle, DB2, and Postgres.
• Skilled in developing and integrating APIs using SOAP, REST, JSON, and XML.
• Experience with programming languages like Java, PHP, JavaScript, etc.
• Familiar with Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Strong project management capabilities.

Professional Experience

• 3–5 years of relevant experience, ideally in IT roles within telecom or banking sectors.
• Familiar with the telecom or financial services IT landscape.
• Demonstrates strong performance orientation and adaptability.
• Knowledgeable in emerging tech trends and services relevant to the industry.
• Excellent data analysis and Excel proficiency.
