POSITION: Pharmaceutical Technician

Location: Bagamoyo

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense prescribed medications to patients, ensuring correct dosage and clear labeling.
• Educate patients on how to use their medications properly, including dosage, possible side effects, and storage instructions.
• Maintain detailed records of dispensed medicines, monitor inventory, and update stock data as needed.
• Order, manage, and distribute pharmaceuticals and medical supplies within the facility.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to promote the safe and effective use of medications.
• Oversee the implementation of the national medicine policy at the facility level.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• Diploma in Pharmacy from a recognized institution.
• Must be registered with the Pharmacy Council of Tanzania.
• Valid practicing license is mandatory.
• Minimum of two (2) years of professional experience.
• Strong skills in emergency response and managing health-related workplace risks.
• Background in occupational or industrial health is an added advantage.
