Job Overview
Position: Relationship Manager – Dar
Location: Dar es Salaam
Minimum qualification: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Banking, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or related fields.
Deadline: August 15, 2025
Objective: Meet all financial and operational goals set by the bank by driving business growth and development at the branch level in Zambia.
Key Responsibilities
Business Performance
- Achieve sales, revenue, deposits, and lending targets, along with maintaining efficiency benchmarks.
- Develop and implement the approved branch budget.
- Closely manage and control branch expenditures, both direct and indirect.
- Maintain an optimal cost-to-income ratio.
Customer Relations & Service
- Uphold high standards in customer service, client acquisition, and satisfaction.
- Retain top-tier clients and increase business volume within the target market.
Team Leadership & Management
- Build and lead a results-driven team.
- Promote staff development through coaching and performance management for enhanced productivity.
Operational Excellence & Compliance
- Ensure full compliance with risk management and operational policies.
- Adhere to standards related to branch layout, Know Your Customer (KYC), and internal procedures.
Strategic Growth
- Drive branch expansion efforts within the approved market segments.
Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Banking, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in branch operations and relationship management.
