Azam Media is looking for a Senior Online Producer to take charge of and enhance its digital storytelling across various platforms. This position requires a strong strategic mindset, excellent editorial judgment, and creative leadership to develop compelling, timely content that reflects and strengthens the Azam brand.

Primary Responsibilities

• Contribute to the leadership and execution of comprehensive social media strategies across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, X/Twitter, TikTok, and YouTube.
• Supervise a team of social media producers by assigning responsibilities, reviewing output, and ensuring all content meets editorial standards and deadlines.
• Work closely with editorial, video, design, and marketing teams to produce platform-specific multimedia content.
• Track and evaluate performance metrics to enhance audience engagement and regularly report on key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Respond promptly to breaking news and trending stories with relevant, brand-consistent content.
• Maintain a content calendar aligned with editorial strategies and broader organizational objectives.
• Support junior team members through training and mentorship on best practices and ethical standards in social media.
• Uphold legal and platform-specific guidelines, including those related to copyright, privacy, and defamation.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, Media Studies, or a related discipline.
• At least five years of editorial leadership experience, preferably in a newsroom, media house, or content production environment.
• Strong portfolio of social media content creation (video, graphics, text, interactive).
• Proven ability to manage small teams and multiple deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
• Demonstrated knowledge of current and emerging social media trends, platform algorithms, and audience behaviors.
• Proficiency in tools such as Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite, Meta Business Suite, Creator Studio, Hootsuite, Google Analytics, etc.
