Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess a Diploma in Laboratory Science, Chemistry, Food Technology, or a closely related discipline from a recognized institution.
A single sitting pass in all subjects at Form Four level is required.
Key Competencies and Attributes
- Proficient in performing physical, chemical, and microbiological tests on raw materials, packaging components, and finished goods, following established standards and procedures.
- Strong computer and documentation abilities, with a focus on accurate, timely recording and interpretation of test results.
- Practical knowledge of GMP, GLP, and HACCP systems.
- Skilled in detecting and reporting quality deviations or non-conformities.
- Self-driven, detail-focused, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- A reliable team player with high ethical standards and integrity.
- Committed to maintaining laboratory safety and hygiene protocols.
Experience
A minimum of one (1) year of relevant experience in a Laboratory or Quality Assurance environment is required.
