Walter Sisulu University (WSU) is a comprehensive public university in South Africa, with campuses in Mthatha, East London (Buffalo City), Butterworth, and Komani (Queenstown). Established in 2005 through the merger of several institutions, it serves over 31,500 students under five main faculties: Engineering, Health Sciences, Education, Economics & Financial Sciences, Humanities & Social Sciences, and Natural Sciences. All programmes are accredited by the Council on Higher Education and many align with professional body standards
