Job Description: Marketing Manager – The Singing Grass Bushcamp, Serengeti National Park
Company Overview: The Singing Grass Bushcamp is a premier luxury accommodation provider located in the heart of the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania. Our camp offers a unique and immersive safari experience amidst the stunning African wilderness.
Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Marketing Manager to join our expanding team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and marketing within the hospitality or accommodation industry, particularly in the context of safari tourism.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic marketing plans to drive business growth and brand awareness.
- Create and execute marketing campaigns targeting local and international markets.
- Collaborate with external agencies and partners to enhance marketing efforts.
- Manage digital marketing initiatives, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, and social media.
- Analyze market trends and customer insights to optimize marketing strategies.
- Monitor and report on campaign performance and ROI.
- Oversee the creation of promotional materials and content for marketing purposes.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, travel agencies, and tour operators.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities and threats.
Requirements:
- Proven experience (7+ years) in sales and marketing roles within the hospitality or travel industry, preferably in safari accommodations or luxury resorts.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing tools and techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Creative thinker with a strategic mindset and strong analytical abilities.
- Results-driven with a track record of achieving marketing goals and targets.
Compensation: Compensation will be commensurate with experience and the candidate’s ability to drive rigorous marketing and sales discipline within the company.
