Position: Fiber Project Manager

Minimum Qualification

Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Civil Engineering, Project Management, or a closely related field

Experience

Minimum of 3 years managing telecom network projects

Area of Expertise

Fiber infrastructure deployment and project oversight

Key Responsibilities

Project Execution & Delivery

Oversee the complete lifecycle of fiber deployment projects—covering FTTH, FTTx, backbone, and metropolitan fiber networks—from planning to completion.

Team & Vendor Collaboration

• Supervise internal departments including design, construction, QA/QC, and documentation teams.
• Coordinate effectively with contractors, material suppliers, and relevant public sector agencies.
• Perform on-site inspections to track progress and verify adherence to quality benchmarks.

Financial Oversight & Reporting

• Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring expenditures align with financial targets.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as cost, timelines, quality, and safety.
• Deliver consistent project updates and reports to senior leadership.

Standards & Documentation Compliance

• Ensure projects follow internal policies, industry best practices (e.g., IEEE, ITU-T), and local regulatory standards (e.g., TCRA).
• Maintain accurate project records, including bills of quantities, as-built schematics, test reports, and permits.

Risk Management & Problem Resolution

• Identify potential risks early and implement strategies to reduce or eliminate them.
• Respond to escalated issues and resolve any technical or logistical challenges that arise.
