Job Overview:
This position involves managing and maintaining the organization’s database systems to ensure they operate efficiently and securely.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with users to identify common requirements and system functionalities.
- Design, build, implement, and test database architectures.
- Develop both back-end and front-end database connections.
- Offer support and services to database users and clients.
- Ensure databases are securely maintained and perform optimally.
- Conduct routine checks for database integrity and security.
- Enforce database security measures and manage user access controls.
- Document database management processes and procedures.
- Generate and analyze regular performance reports.
- Provide technical assistance and training to database users.
- Carry out other tasks as assigned by a supervisor.
Qualifications and Experience:
A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field from a recognized institution.
Salary Scale: NIDASS 5
