Position Overview:
This role involves performing key plumbing installations, repairs, and ensuring the proper functioning of all plumbing systems, as directed by your supervisor or trainer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prioritize safety by conducting daily inspections and promptly addressing any hazards.
• Adhere to all company rules and procedures, including any updates.
• Take personal responsibility for your own safety and the safety of those around you.
• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems—such as pipes, valves, drains, and fixtures (e.g., sinks, toilets, water heaters)—at AUMS Geofields offices and camp facilities.
• Conduct routine checks on plumbing systems to identify and fix leaks, blockages, and worn-out components.
• Handle repairs on previously installed plumbing infrastructure in line with company standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in all work areas.
• Report issues or malfunctions immediately to your supervisor.
• Be prepared to assist with other tasks as directed by your supervisor.

Qualifications and Experience Required:

• Minimum of three years of hands-on plumbing experience.
• Certified trade qualification in plumbing.
• Solid knowledge of water supply and drainage systems.
• Strong maintenance and service-oriented mindset.
• Eagerness to develop further skills, especially in a mining environment.
• Possess a valid driver’s license.
• Proficient in basic math and able to communicate effectively in English (both written and spoken).
• Ability to perform under pressure.
• Basic first aid knowledge is an advantage.
