VACANCIES: SECONDARY SCHOOL TEACHERS – ART & DESIGN / GEOGRAPHY (IGCSE & AS/A-LEVEL)
Dar es Salaam Independent School is seeking qualified and experienced candidates for the following positions:
- Secondary School Art & Design Teacher (IGCSE & AS/A-Level)
- Secondary School Geography Teacher (IGCSE & AS/A-Level)
Qualifications for the Art & Design Teaching Position:
- A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education or a related discipline
- Demonstrated experience teaching the Cambridge Curriculum at IGCSE and A-Level in Art & Design
- Familiarity with Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE) standards
- Proven success in delivering Art education within the Cambridge framework at the required levels
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to motivate and engage learners
- A strong commitment to ongoing professional development
- Proficiency in ICT
Qualifications for the Geography Teaching Position:
- A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education or a related field (a degree that includes Education is required)
- Previous experience teaching Cambridge Curriculum at IGCSE and AS/A-Level in Geography
- Familiarity with Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE) standards
- Demonstrated expertise in teaching Geography at the required Cambridge levels
- Strong communication skills and a passion for inspiring students
- Dedication to professional growth
- Good computer literacy
